1984
Where It All Began
- Founded in June by Mr. Damani
- Operations began in rented premises
- Introduced Neoplast™ TPVs in India for the first time
- Initial production capacity: 300 TPA
1987 – 1992
Expanding Possibilities
- Introduced Hipolyene™ range of PP compounds – a first in India
- Enabled India’s first single-piece injection moulded dashboard for Tata Mobile 207, with Brite Brothers
- Developed multiple new applications showcasing PP compound capabilities
1993 – 1997
Building Scale and Credibility
- Expanded customer base to include GM, Fiat, Hindustan Motors & supplied PP compounds, TPOs and TPVs
- Achieved profitability, moved into own facility in Nasik, Maharashtra
- Capacity scaled to 3000 TPA
1998 – 2001
Partnering Landmark Programs
- Selected as material partner to TACO & Faurecia for Tata Indica
- PP compounds approved across all applications from front to rear bumper
- Commissioned Plant II at Sinnar, increasing capacity to 5000 TPA
- Chosen by Mytex AP (Mitsubishi) to supply Toyota India operations
2003 – 2007
Becoming a Trusted Industry Partner
- Expanded Plant II, increasing capacity to 11,000 TPA
- Selected as strategic supplier for new Tata vehicle programs
- Approved by Mahindra for Scorpio and Bolero
- Awarded business by Bajaj for cost-effective PP compounds
- Materials approved for Toyota Innova program
- Received SPEICON award for highest plastic consumption in a vehicle
2008 – 2013
Diversifying and Strengthening
- Expanded Plant II footprint to 10,000 sq. mtrs; capacity increased to 18,000 TPA
- Selected by Renault Nissan as strategic material supplier
- Expanded Neoplast™ TPV applications across wire & cable, medical, healthcare and irrigation
- Partnered with Mahindra for Ingenio, W201, LTV and other programs
- Approved by Volkswagen India
- Began construction of Plant III in Chennai
- Launched Hiflex™ PP glass composite compounds
- Started supplies to Ashok Leyland, Navistar, AL-Nissan
- Entered sheet extrusion with 2000 TPA capacity; launched CompSpec TPO sheets
2013 – 2015
Expanding Reach and Capability
- Commissioned Plant III in Chennai; total capacity reached 32,000 TPA
- Established Gurgaon warehouse for North India operations
- Received material approvals from Suzuki, Japan (interiors & exteriors)
- Launched Entec™ PP composite compounds
- Introduced Neoflex™ SBC-based TPEs
- Approved by Daimler India for Bharat Benz supplies
2016 – 2018
A Defining Shift
- Exited PP compounding; business acquired by LyondellBasell
- Transferred assets across Sinnar and Chennai; 80% of team transitioned
- Refocused on TPE business with 5000 TPA capacity
- Defined new vision: to become India’s leading TPE processor
- Launched Neolloy™ TPO compounds based on advanced elastomer blends
2018 – 2021
Building the Next Phase
- Established Plant II at Chakan, Pune; capacity increased to 10,000 TPA
- Launched GreenShield™ range for construction applications
- Entered thermoforming with large-format capabilities (3m x 2m)
- Transitioned into a fully integrated Tier I player – compounds, sheets, and formed components

Founders & Promoters

Mr. Mirisch Damani
Chairman and Managing Director
Mirisch Damani is the Chairman & Founder of Zylog. With a vision to bring new technologies to India, he established Zylog in 1984 in India, with a primary focus to manufacture and supply TPOs, TPVs and PP Compounds to the Indian automotive industry. Mr. Damani holds a BSc – Chemistry from University of Bombay, India; MS – Polymer Science from University of Akron, Ohio, USA and MBA from Indiana University, USA.

Mr. Aschak Damani
CEO and Executive Director
Aschak Damani joined Zylog in mid 2004; after completing his MBA from Chicago, USA. After having trained in various areas of the business for the first 6 years; Aschak was tasked to develop new automotive OEM customers.

As Vice President of Operations at Zylog, Ravindra heads the entire plant operations with the help of his dynamic production, purchase and quality control team.
